Coworking is a brave new world for some people, either entrepreneurs or freelancers trying to look for a place to work on their projects that isn’t 5 paces away from the living room couch. Download your movies at home besides freeing up the internet speed, you don’t want anybody to know that you watch The Bachelor when the internet provider sends a cease and desist letter.
2. Get involved with group stretches and other ice breakers. Why not? At most it will improve productivity and at least it’ll give you something to laugh about on a Friday afternoon.
3. Share interesting videos, news and articles you’ve seen online. What’s a little Roomba cats viewing between two ferns.
4. Don’t let your food explode all over the microwave-or if you do at least share it with everybody.
5. If you know that you have to take a long (or gulp…particularly unpleasant) phone call, book a meeting room or take it to the hall.
6. Find the right balance between talking enough and talking too much.
7.While it’s good to share your musical influences, not everyone wants to type important documents to the beat of Ibiza on a Monday morning.
8. Say good morning and good evening. You see your co-workers every day, so treat them as such
9. Get involved. Most spaces evolve with your input. You want a poster of Patrick Swayze on your wall? Ask and get it up there!
