CITY GUIDE: AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam is about to become Europe’s first Sharing City. The variety of entrepreneurs, organizations and communities already active within the sharing economy show that Amsterdam has it. Did you know that 84% of the city’s inhabitants are willing to take part in at least one of the examples of collaborative consumption? Recent research by shareNL shows Amsterdam is already a thriving sharing community.

  1. Dear Harmen, I am Finnish journalist coming to Amsterdam to write about your sharing city. I would like to know what do you recommend a short time traveler to try from your large selection: air bnb, rental bike, rental boat, shareble car? A lunch at the recycled food cafe perhaps? What else?
I will write a travel story and encourage Finns to experience all this.
I+ll be in Amsterdam 19–25 th of Nov. I sent you also an email.
