Kasia Gruszka, our curator from Austria, brings great news on her activities in Vienna!
Austria’s capital has just joined the growing group of cities supporting research on collaborative consumption with their funding. SHARE VIENNA, a one-year-long project, kicks off in September. And our curator is in charge!
Collaborative consumption in Vienna is mainly visible in larger scale product service systems such as car sharing or bike sharing, leaving lots of smaller-scale initiatives unnoticed. SHARE VIENNA wants to change that and starts with building a database of what is actually going on in the city. With the complete database, the project goes on to build a local understanding of what collaborative consumption stands for in the context of Vienna. That means lots of exciting discoveries coming up on the Viennese sharing scene.
SHARE VIENNA joins forces with another project growing in the city called City Share Guide – a future directory currently under construction. This project takes part in yet another city fund competition. You can show your support and vote for the guide here.
